Tim received initial hazardous materials containment training from 1990 to 1993. Since 1993 he has been gaining experience dealing with the many hazards presented by fire scenes, For the past 24 years Tim has been sharing his knowledge and experience to provide others with current industry best practice information aimed to help fellow fire investigators, insurance adjusters, police officers understand risks and effective risk management techniques for safety at fire scenes and to reduce the risks of fire occurrence. Tim has worked professionally as a curriculum developer,  training program coordinator, Professional Instructor/Trainer and Training Officer with various provincial and municipal governments and for professional associations of interest to fire investigators.
